STARTUP
Starting this up, I'll organize this a little better as we go along, but I'm looking at various options for studying ai/ml through either bootcamps or available online coursework, in the way that will end up being most attractive to prospective employers.
Based on my general read of the current environment, given how new the space is, it seems like unless you are coming from a background with advanced degrees in computer science, credentials are not actually worth all that much in this field in the job market.
What I am hearing (reading) as I research, is that people tend to be much more impressed with a portfolio of work, and an active github profile. That being said, the Google Machine Learning certificate really does seem to carry some weight, if one can achieve it.
