STARTUP

Mostly spent today getting my desktop computer in the basement set up to work through the bootcamp coursework, and then continue into my broader studies from there.

CHORE - Dev Environment Setup

Got a fresh install of linux up and running on the big computer yesterday, spent most of today getting it set up with the necessary apps and keys and settings for development. Installed and setup several things I am already fairly familiar with from my existing background, and generally found the new tools specific to ai fairly easy to get running on a first pass.

Checked into a few subscriptions and services that I may need through the course of this work, to start getting a sense of which ones are actually useful and well-suited.
